I wanted to thank all of you for the comfort and encouragement you all have been to me, as well as to Andrew when he was still living, through all your notes, comments, physical help, the list is endless. I can't express how much strength I draw from all of your encouragement.
Thank you so much also to the many of you who felt compelled to give to A.J. and Gracie's fund. Many of you have been asking for more information on the fund. I met with some of the elders from the church last night, and we are still in discussion about what kind of fund we are going to set up. Perhaps something like a trust that they could use for college or something in the future. It still appears that checks are coming in, so our decision is largely going to depend on how much they total in the end. Many of you have expressed an interest in still giving to the fund, so here is the information.
Please make checks out to:

ReplyDeleteGrace,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your life with us. You minister to us (and so many others) with your words and we appreciate it. We continue to pray for you, AJ, and Gracie.
We Love you,

I think setting up a trust fund might be a good way to go. I'll see if there's any other way to maximize tax savings and let you know what might be the best.
ReplyDeleteYou dont' know me. I live in maryland. A friend emailed me the pdf of your blog starting two years ago. He told me he had read it and spent the last few days crying and thinking how God was glorified through all your suffering. I just finished reading and now I am crying. My prayers are with you and the children. What a blessing to have been married to a fine man like Andrew. What a wonderful God we serve. Rest assured you will laugh and run with him again in the heavens. Thanks for your obedience even through the hell you have been through. Stephen Kaiss skaiss@aol.com

Grace,
ReplyDeleteI just want to encourage you and let you know that I am still praying for your joy in our Great God. He is sufficient for your every need, He is Shepherd of your heart, He is all you need and more.
Stay close to His Word. Keep planting the seeds that He may water them and they will grow and bear fruit.
Ps. 119:49 Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope. 50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.
He does remember. He is our Hope. Through our trials He draws us closer to Himself and His promises give us life and life more abundantly.
Keep trusting little sister in Christ. You have been an encouragement to many people. He is our Hope!
