  1. Grace, I am listening right now...I am blown away right now at how much the Lord is using your blog and your and Andrew's lives to reach the world with the truth about Christ and eternity. What examples of how trust in Christ and sufficiency in Him can carry one through suffering and can give one hope that what we see now is not worth comparing with what we will KNOW in heaven.

Only heaven will reveal how the Lord has used these things you have suffered for His Glory. Thank you for honoring our Lord!

  2. Dear Grace,

I also grew up with Andrew at RCCC. I remember the last time I saw him, it was during my spring break when I visited him at UCLA. This was the first time I was seeing him since he had turned his life around and I remember feeling so happy. Both my parents had taught him at one point in Sunday School and to see him come so far. I remember the car ride to church where Andrew told me about how he had come to know Christ. He told me about his father visiting and then about coming across the Hudson Taylor book at a garage sale. We spent the afternoon with another old RCCC youth counselor named David Wu and I remember walking away that day feeling as though I had been blown away by God.

I know we've never met, but he told me about you that day. He told me you were in the Philippines and that we shared the same name. I don't think I'll ever forget that day. It's always been so clear to me and a very fond memory that I hold dear in my heart.

I didn't know Andrew had gotten sick. My dad had heard through the church of his passing and told me on Monday. I'm very sorry. My heart breaks with yours' and Andrew's entire family. I know he's in a better place now and I praise God that Andrew got to live such an awesome life. He touched many people, myself included.

I will be praying for you, the kids, and his entire family.

    God Bless You All.
    Grace Niu
