Another Andrew Update

Dear Everyone,

We are so grateful for all the support and prayers you provided through our last cancer trial. We truly believe that it was your many petitions on our behalf that has prolonged Andrew’s life thus far. We are so grateful for the last 8 months of Andrew’s health, because they have been the sweetest of our time as a family. Many days felt like a celebration just to have all four of us alive and together. I feel compelled to ask for your prayers again, because I truly believe that a believer’s beseeches to the Lord is the most impactful thing anyone can do for Andrew’s health.

Andrew has begun having some discomfort again at the back of his mouth. We had a PET scan done last week and the results were questionable. The doctor said it could either be cancer or it could just be the effects of radiation. Andrew will have a biopsy this Thursday. Please pray that this is a false alarm or that if it is cancer, the Lord would heal it before his biopsy.

“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”
– James 5:16-18

Thanks so much.

Love,

Grace
